In my last post, I talked a lot about my target audience is, specifically, who I want to build this site for. Different people learn in different ways, which is why I want to do more than simple write blog posts for my readers.
Right now I’m reading up on how to start a podcast. One of the best ways I learn is by listening to CD’s, audiobooks, and podcasts in the car on my way to and from the office, or while going to meet with referral sources. I used to listen to sports radio or NPR, but then I realized that I was wasting a lot of time that could be spent learning about how I can build a better law firm.
For that reason, I’m going to start a podcast. My goal is to launch sometime later this month or in November. More on that to come.
Other goals for Legal Marketing Made Easy include:
- Writing a short e-book on the legal marketing strategies that I have employed in my law practice. This will be available for free download.
- Building a resource directory (aka rolodex) of all my most trusted vendors. I’ve used lots of products over the years. My hope in providing this information is that you won’t have to suffer the same mistakes I did in starting my law practice.
- Making myself available on a limited basis for individual coaching clients. After I begin to get a larger audience for the website, I’m going to open up a limited number of free coaching slots – more on this to come.
- With your guidance and suggestions, I will develop other information products and resources that will be most beneficial to you as you continue to build and develop your law practice.
As always, if you have any comments or suggestions regarding future content or the overall goals for this site, please post them below.
